"Tellin' Me" was a song recorded by Fifth Harmony, that was intended for their debut EP / Album Better Together.
Background[]
In 2013, the song was registered on BMI and ASCAP publishing, #16289973 & #885323379, respectively. It ended up being left off the final version of the EP for unknown reasons.[1]
Dinah Jane confirmed through a video in late 2014 that Tellin' Me was supposed to be on "our first album, like our original album but we started switching the sound." Since the overall sound of the album ended up changing drastically (ie: Reflection), the song was eventually dropped.[2]
Previously, several snippets of the song leaked online from Dinah Jane and Ally's friend Jake Updegraff (@OnairJake) on Twitter and Vine in 2015.[3] A full demo of the song leaked on September 23rd, 2023.[4]
