"Impossible" is a song by Barbadian recording artist Shontelle. It is the lead single from her second studio album, No Gravity (2010). It was performed by Fifth Harmony on The X Factor. It's one of the most special songs for the girls and for the Harmonizers, because this was the first song they ever performed together. Fifth Harmony performed the song both during the Judge's Houses stage of the competition, and during the semi-finals as their "Song of the Series". During the semi-final performance, Camila, Lauren and Ally added Spanish vocals to make the song bilingual.
This song was later released as the first single for British singer-songwriter James Arthur after he won the ninth series of the UK version of the X Factor in 2012 (the same year Fifth Harmony performed the song).
Following their completion of the X Factor and rise to music stardom, the girls performed the song 5 years later, in 2017 on Dancing With The Stars, on which Normani is a contestant. Ally, Dinah and Lauren sang the song and harmonized whilst Normani danced with partner Val.

- The first time the girls performed this song, they were known at the time as LYLAS.
