"Monies", alternatively titled as "Money", is an unreleased song featuring Tory Lanez that was recorded for the groups sophomore studio album, 7/27. Monies surfaced online on October 10th, 2018. Tinashe's recording of the song surfaced on March 26th, 2019. The song is currently not registered on BMI or ASCAP by Fifth Harmony nor Tinashe.
Background[]
Monies, originally titled as Money, was originally recorded solo by American singer Tinashe, likely intended to be released on her 2016 album Nightride. For unknown reasons, however, the song was scrapped and sold to Fifth Harmony who recorded it, included Tory Lanez as a featured artist, and intended to release it on their sophomore studio album; 7/27. For unknown reasons, however, the song was left off the final tracklisting for the album and thus was left unreleased. The girls version (Listen) leaked in 2018 and Tinashe's demo (Listen) leaked in 2019.
